BlockAgo is Hiro & Jay, a humble small team of two. We've been playing around the software development and design/art industries respectively for quite a while already, and since we discovered the blockchain — and more recently the NFTs — we knew we could and had to bootstrap a project in this ecosystem: that's how BlockAgo was born.
At BlockAgo, our goal is to persist in the form of art the most relevant moments in blockchain history. Art is sometimes that, just about the past. We wanted to merge that concept with the NFT world, creating this somehow ironic idea, where things from the off-chain and on-chain world collide.
Have you ever wondered where does the burnt Ethereum really go? WeiRays is our first project, a minimalistic generative artwork to honor what we consider one of the most important hard forks of Ethereum history: the London Upgrade. WeiRays is the fantasy of how the ether is burnt. It's not just gone from the wallets, it's not just an amount that decreases, it's actually Ethereum Radiation.
